Jaime was a loving father, husband, father-in-law, grandfather, and friend to all. He would lend a hand to anyone without hesitation and always with a smile on his face. His passion was in building things. From small things like wooden crosses to his very own house. In the evenings he enjoyed watching soccer or boxing, playing solitaire on his cell phone, playing a game of Dominoes or Loteria, or scratching off lottery tickets. He enjoyed grilling almost every weekend because he knew he would be surrounded by family. For 35 plus years Jaime worked diligently as a Machine Operator for Georgia Pacific where he was forced to resign before retiring due to his illness. On his spare time, he loved to read a book or two. He loved raising chickens, goats, and pigs. Every morning you would catch him and mom at Big Texas buying coffee or he would be in the backyard with a fire going. He was a quiet and private man but would talk to anyone at any time.
Jaime took on cancer and battled it with all his strength fop-IO years. That would be 5 more years than what doctors had initially told him. He fought it hard for his family but primarily for his beautiful loving wife. His love towards his wife was that strong. In the end, Jaime, 65, succumbed to colon cancer at home surrounded by his family on April 20,
2018.
