James Earl Berry's Obituary
The funeral service for Mr. James Berry, 74, of Lufkin, Texas, will be held Saturday, Nov. 9, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. in the Colonial Mortuary Chapel. Burial will follow in the Davis Memorial Garden.
James Earl Berry Jr., was born on March 20, 1950, to the parentage of the late Elmer Berry and James Berry', Sr.
James was a Veteran of he United States Army. His religious affiliation was with The Greater Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Lufkin, Texas. He received his formal education from Dunbar High School in Lufkin, Texas.
James affectionately called Earl by all of his friends was a very intelligent an efficient worker, who loved carpenter work and was very good at it. He had contracts with individuals who needed their roofs done, he repaired home interiors, he was a painter, did some plumbing and his favorite skill was electricity, and repairing air conditioners. James was a friendly individual who enjoyed his life. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
