Janet Leila Brown's Obituary
Janet was born October 1, 1950, to the late Claudia (Hosey) Whitney and Hubert Whitney.
She graduated from Hutchison high school in 1968 in Hutchison, Kansas, and earned a registered nursing degree at Hutchinson Junior College, following her high school graduation. She went on to practice nursing in Hutchinson Kansas, Beaumont Texas, Lufkin Texas, and as a traveling nurse until she became disabled in 2016. She was also a Mary Kay consultant for many years.
Survivors include her husband Craig Brown of Lufkin, Texas, son Christopher Brown of Durham North Carolina, son Robert Brown and daughter-in-law Elizabeth of Arlington Texas. Her grandchildren Nicholas Brown and Jack Brown, Of Arlington, Texas, and her sister Brenda Woelk and her husband Keith of Hutchinson, Kansas.
She will be Cremated and her ashes scattered at a later time.
