Jerone Jones' Obituary
Funeral services for Jerone DeVar Jones are scheduled for Saturday at 2:00 p.m. in the Pines Theater (Bible Teaching Ministries) 113 S. First Street, Lufkin, Texas. The pastor Carlton Craig will deliver the Eulogy and Minister Shante Moreland will officiate. Interment will follow in the Davis Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be on Friday in the Colonial Mortuary Chapel from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Jeromne DeVar Jones was born on February 13, 1979 to Zarnoff, Sr. and Grace Ann Griffin in Houston, Texas. He was called to glory on December 18, 2017. Jerome was a beautiful person that was well known in the community for opening his heart and arms to anyone in need. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Survivors: His wife, Leslie Jones; Children, Kaliyah Jones, Island and Kingdom Jones; Father, Zarnoff Griffin, Sr.; Aunt, Cassandra Jones (Momma); Grandmother, Mrs. Mary Jones; Siblings, Zamoff Griffin, Jr., Crystal Pier, Valencia Griffin and Porche Griffin; A wealth of nieces, nephews; Special cousins raised as his brothers, Norman Crisp, Derrick Johnson and Reginald Crisp.
