Jessie Mae Mark was born on February 11, 1939 in Chireno, Texas to the late Jessie Hale Sr and Alice (Anthony) Hale who preceded her in death. Siblings who preceeded her in death were: Joann, Lavenia, Lurlene, Lillie, and Ophelia; Brothers, Jessie Jr., H.V., Jerry, and Docie Lee.
She attended schools in Chireno and Huntington, Texas and was a graduate of Dunbar High School. Her favorite school activity was basketball. She was a loving wife, mother and homemaker.
She accepted Christ at a very young age and believed that he died for our sins and that he rose again. What a blessing to have such a solid foundation and to accept the call as a "Missionary" for Christ Jesus. She served as a member of Warren Temple True Light Holiness Church under the leadership of Pastor Roy Adams. Serving was such a joy and she served jubilantly in many capacities of the ministry. Her greatest gift was singing. This precious gift was utilized to the fullest for many wonderful years.
She was joined in marriage to the late Vernon Lee Mark Sr. who preceded in her death. They enjoyed this Godly union for over fifty-eight years.
On March 6, 2019, Jessie Mae Mark departed this earthly life in Nacogdoches, Texas and took wings to her heavenly home.
