Services for Jewel Denise (Hunt) Roy will be held Saturday, August 31, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the Our Father's House of Faith, 518 S. 3rd. St., Lufkin, TX. Burial will follow in the Davis Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 till 7:00 p.m. at Colonial Mortuary. Mrs. Roy was born April 19, 1978 in Lufkin and died August 17, 2019 in Houston, TX.
Jewel Denise Hunt Roy, was born on April 19, 1978 in Lufkin, Texas, to the Jewel Clayton Hunt and the late Doris Jean Johnson.
She received her formal education from the Lufkin Independent School District. Jewel was of Baptist faith and was married to Robert Roy at the time of her demise. Her livelihood consisted of her love for cooking, music and spending quality time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a people person who loved her children dearly. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
On August 17, 2019, Jewel Denise Hunt Roy made her transition in Lufkin, Texas from her earthly life to her Heavenly Home.

Jewel was preceded in death by: Her mother, Doris Jean Johnson and a sister, Jeanie Chestnut.
