Services for Jocelyn Wiley of Kennard, TX. will be held Saturday, January 4, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in the Simpson Chapel Baptist Church in Tadmor, TX
Burial will follow in the McKelvy Cemetery. Visitation is Friday from 5:00
till 7:00 at Colonial Mortuary.
Jocelyn Marie Wiley was born April 01, 1953 in Rusk, Texas. She was the first born of eight children to James Thomas Wiley(J.T) and Willie Mae Morrison Wiley. Jocelyn was the apple of their eye. Her dad called her Jack and he said it meant Jack of all trades. She could do anything.
She was a member of the Simpson Chapel Baptist Church, until her health failed. She received her education at Kennard Westside Color School and Kennard I.S.D in Kennard, Texas. She also received an Associate Degree at Massey Business College in Business. She worked at Kennard I.S.D. As a Teacher Aide for nineteen years. Jocelyn love to cook and sew and loved people. She was a giver to everybody and was one of the nicest and sweetiest person you ever met.
She was preceded in death by her parents James Thomas Wiley(J.T.) and Willie Mae Morrison Wiley.
She leaves to cherish her memories, two brothers, James A. Wiley and Aaron Wiley(Carrie); five sisters, Jeanette Wiley, Joyce Lee(Johnny), Celerea Smith(Ricky), Bernice Benton(Anthony) and Patricia Wiley; fourteen nephews and nieces, James Derrell Smith(Kim), Lakosha Lee, Claude Love,
Denna Albro, Taurean Lee(Maria), Valerie Lewis, Robert Benton Jr., Jeremy Benton, Joshua Benton, Ana Wiley, Nicholas Smith, Seth Wiley, Caleigh Wiley and Jayden Wiley; eighteen great nephews and nieces, Ja'Kennethon Smith, Ja'Quawn Harrell, Danielle Smith, Jadynn Smith, Jace smith, Derrick Williams, Demetrius Williams, Bryce Simpson, Blake Simpson, Carmen Williams, Mallory Williams,
Alexandria Williams, Ricardo Harrison, Jr., Sha' Marion Harrison, Zanasia Harrison, Gavin Harrison,
