Funeral service for Joe Audrey, 76 will be held 11:00 A.M, Saturday, November 29, 2025, in the Colonial Mortuary Chapel. Burial will follow in the Davis Memorial Garden.
Joe Audrey, Jr., was born to Eliza Jane (Kegler) and Joe Audrey, August 25, 1949 in Sabine County, Texas. Joe was one of four siblings.
He was married to Eleanor Jean Audrey (deceased). Together they had one son, Joe Christopher Bryant (deceased), and one daughter, CaSondra "Tina" Dychelle Ware. Joe graduated from West Sabine High School and attended Prairie View A&M University. He retired from Lufkin Industries after over 30 years of service. Joe and Jean moved to Lufkin, Texas from Pineland, Texas in the 70's, after which he began working at Lufkin Industries to support the family and raise Tina.
Anyone who knew Joe, knew he had a passion for cooking and barbequing. He spent the latter part of his life trying to coach his daughter and grandson, Taylor, how to "Q" properly and make the world's best chili! Joe lived life on his terms up until his departure from Earth. He loved, laughed, and always stood his ground.
He was preceded in death by: his parents, son, and a nephew, Peter.
Survivors: Daughter.,Tina Ware (Norman); Grandsons, Taylor (Scooter) Phillips and Nyles Ware; His beloved siblings, Joe Ann Driver (James). Annie Lee Hunt (Too Too), and Bobby Don Kegler (Joyce); Nieces and, Beverly Kegler, Keena Huntington (Demitri), Kimberly Kegler, Kara Broussard, Mona Audrey, Chris Hunt, Mark Hunt and Paul Audery (Kathy) and their children.
