Graveside services for Mr. John William Hostler, 80, of Lufkin, will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, August 12, 2022, in the Berry Cemetery,
John was born on April 22, 2022, in Newport, PA, the late son of James Hostler and Ida Irene Bell. He is survived by his sister Lillian Resinger of Kinkora, Duncannon, PA, daughter Kimberly and Antionette, sons John Jr., and Robert and eight grandchildren and thirty great-great-grandchildren, and one great grand grandchild. He was proceeded in death by his with Lorena Hostler, three brothers, James, and George, Robert, and four sisters Margaret, Grace Sara Ann, and Helen. He attended Juniata Joint High School, Mifflintown, PA. John was an Army veteran. He retired as an electrician. John will be remembered for his love of pets and his support of area animal associations. Mr. Hostler passed away Sunday, August 7, 2022, at his residence.
