Jonathan Riviere's Obituary
Jonathan Stuart Riviere, 64 departed this life on August 24, 2021 with his wife by his side. Jonathan was born on November 3, 1956 in Roseau, Dominica West Indies. He was the son of William and Rita Riviere currently of Mahaut, Dominica. In 1963, he immigrated to Queens New York, where
he attended John Adams High School and enlisted into the United States Army 1977.
On January 18, 2006 in Lufkin, Texas, he married the love of his life Jimmie Robinson who survives at home. He is also survived by his daughter, Yolanda Potts; son-in-law, Herbert Potts; his grandchildren, Malcolm Potts, La'Jada Potts, La'Kayla Potts and his fur baby "Precious." He is also survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Dean and Clara Riviere; Sisters-in-law, Barbara Johnson; Mary Menefee; Brothers-in-law, Bobbie Charles Polk, Anthony James Wright, Ramond Nelson, Glenn Polk as well as many nieces and nephews, aunts, cousins, and friends.
A Private Celebration of Life Service will be held at Colonial Mortuary in Lufkin, TX.
