Joy Riley Palmer's Obituary
Joy Riley Palmer was born on December 31, 1933, to Mattie (Dewitz) and Carter Riley. She gained her wings on Friday, December 27, 2024. Mrs. Joy Palmer lived in Huntington, Texas. She loved to dance, bird watch, fish, listen to Elvis Presley's music, and most of all, enjoy her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mattie and Carter Riley, nine siblings, the love of her life, her first husband James Arrant, and her late-in-life love, her second husband Henry Palmer.
Survivors include: daughter Peggy Fredregill; daughter Phyllis Bryan and son-in-law John.
Bryan; seven grandsons: Jeremy Fredregill and partner Rachel Muno; Joe Aaron Fredregill; Curt Fredregil and wife, Christina; Fred Marquardt and partner Anita Johns; David Marquardt; Wiley Bryan and wife Michelle; and Chris Bryan; 14 great-grandchildren; and 19 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Private memorial service will be held at a later date and time. Cremation under the direction of Colonial Mortuary.
