Memorial service for Joyce Hall, 95, of Diboll, is scheduled for Saturday, February 12, 2022, at 10 a.m., in Colonial Mortuary Chapel. Mrs. Hall was born July 18, 1926, in Guthrie, OK., and died January 31, 2022,
in Lufkin. Cremation under the direction of Colonial Mortuary.
A TIME TO BE BORN
Sis. Joyce Mae Hall was born On July 18, 1926, in Guthrie, Oklahoma, to the late John and Ruth Mackey. She was the second of four Daughters.
A TIME TO LIVE
Being orphaned at the age of seven, she was reared by her maternal grandmother and aunt in Chicago, Illinois where she attended Wendell Phillips High School, Jones Commercial School, and Peters Business College.
She was united in Holy Matrimony to Moses C. Hall, Sr. on May 1, 1949. They were blessed with nine lovely children, six sons, and three daughters.
A TIME TO DIE
On January 31, Sis. Hall was called from labor to reward. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Moses C. Hall, Sr.; three sons: Randall, and infants Phillip, Kelley and one daughter, Ruth Odette Hall; and also, a great-grandson, Nathaniel Moses Hall. Those remaining to cherish her memories are three sons, Moses C. Hall, Jr. (Earlene) of Diboll, Texas; Lowell Hall (Lugilyn) and Mark Hall, San Diego, California; two daughters, Meryl McGill, Grand Prairie, Texas; India Hall, Atlanta, Georgia. Seven grandchildren: Randolph, Adam (Sheree), Brette, Millicent McGill; Marjorie, Moses Ill (Cassy), and Ashley Hall. Seven great-grandchildren, Seth, and Ilana McGill; Abigail and Elijah Hall; Asia and Aujanee McGill; three nieces, Linda Factory, Glenda, and Michelle Cameron; one nephew, Michael Cameron; one special cousin, Corrine Kennedy of Washington, DC; many Special friends, Gwen Williams, and a host of relatives and Christian friends.
