Juanita (McFarland) Seale's Obituary
Services for Juanita (McFarland) Seale, 75, of Lufkin will be held Saturday, March 18, 2023, at 11:00 a.m.,
at Colonial Mortuary. Burial will follow in the Davis Memorial Garden.
Juanita Seale was born on October 5, 1947, to the parentage of the late Carlisle and Irene McFarland of Lufkin, Texas.
Juanita was a loved wife, mother, aunt, sister, friend, grandmother and sister in Christ. She received her education from Lufkin Independent School District at Dunbar High School. Soon after, she married the late John Seale where their union stayed 42 years upon his passing. Out of this union they gave life to four beautiful children. (Emanuel, Darrick, Quincy and Celicia)
Juanita's livelihood consisted of her love for cooking and sewing. Through the years she sewed clothes with love for family and friends. Her biggest passion and gift were cooking for family and friends. Additionally, Juanita retired from Southland Healthcare after 18 years of dedicated service. She continued cooking endlessly, for family, friends, church gatherings and the community. God blessed her hands to feed many with love and kindness. She will be missed by many but never forgotten.
On March 9, 2023, Juanita made her transition from her Earthly home to her Eternal Home. Juanita is preceded in death by her husband John Eddie Seale, (parents) Carlisle and Irene McFarland,
(brothers)Thomas O'Neil McFarland, Curtis McFarland, Charles McFarland and (sister) Jeridine Spikes.
Those left to cherish her Memory.
Children: Emanuel Seale (of Lufkin) Darrick Seale (of Gainesville) Quincy Seale (of San Augustine) and
Celicia Seale (of Houston). Siblings; Barbara Davis, Melvin McFarland Sr., Lloyd McFarland Sr. (Lavonne), Brenda Bagley (Jonathan), Linda Sylvester, Carlisle McFarland Jr (Geneva) and Herbert McFarland, Sister in laws: Kevin McFarland and Ora Jean McFarland. Ten grandchildren, three great grandchildren, a wealth of nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.
