Julia Shawntay Goodwin, was born August 25, to the parentage of Larry and Angela Goodwin.
Julia resided in Lufkin, Texas all of her life. Her livelihood consisted of spending quality time with her family especially her children. She loved to stay stylish and keeping her makeup together was a must for her. She had a caring spirit and loved helping others. Julia was loved by many friends and family. She will be greatly missed by all.
On October 22, 2024 Julia Shawntay Goodwin, made her transition to her heavenly home from her earthly home.

Daughters, SaRiyah Goodwin and Kerri McElreath of Lufkin, Texas; Parents, Angela and Larry Goodwin of Lufkin, Texas; Sisters, LaTawnya Ayres (Ashford Ayres), Angie Goodwin (Jay Young) and Sarah Goodwin Lufkin, Texas; Brothers, Larry Forney, James Mathews, and Damien Mathews of Lufkin, Texas; Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Julia was preceded in death by: Grandparents, Ella Mae Glenn and Sarah Elizabeth Goodwin; Brother, Terrance Goodwin, and aunt, Shanda Glenn.
