Services for Juliet (Houston) Elizabeth Overshine, 63, of Lufkin will be held Saturday, June 29, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the First Missionary Baptist Church, 410 Scarbrough, Lufkin ,TX. Burial will follow in the Cedar Grove Cemetery. Visitation is Friday from 7:00 till 9:00 p.m. at Colonial Mortuary.
Their angel, Juliet Elizabeth Houston was born to the late Herod Eugene Houston and the late Ollie V. Houston on July 24, 1955.
She received he formal education form Lufkin High School with the Class of 1973. She met the love of her life, Marshall Charles Overshine and was joined in Ho Matrimony the union producing one child, Nakia Overshine in 1974 . Mrs. Juliet had been employed by Memorial hospital as a Certified Nurse Aide in 1980. Later she worked for Lufkin Independent School District as a Special Education Aide for twenty five years. Mrs. Overshine was the grandmother of two of whom she adored: Naquavia Diane Overshine and Keith Overshine. She was a kind and) loving individual who never met a stranger. She would always have words of encouragement Old she loved the Lord and was obedient to His word.
On June 21, 2019, Mrs. Juliet Elizabeth Overshine departed this life in Humble, Texas.
Mrs. Overshine is preceded in death by: Brother, Gregory Houston; Her parents, Herod E. Houston and Ollie V. Houston; Her husband Marshall C. Overshine.
Survivors: Brothers, Kenneth Ray Houston (Gustie) of Kingwood, Texas, Joseph Houston (Ramonia) of Nacogdoches, Texas; Sister, Shirley Thompson (Angus) of Wichita, Falls, Texas; Numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
