Graveside service for Katherine Hampton,92, of Lufkin will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, January 15, 2021, in the Davis Memorial Garden. Mrs. Hampton was born May 30, 1928, died on Sunday, January 3,Katherine Hampton, was born to the parentage of the late Leara Jones and Clearence Crawford March 30, 1928 in Diboll, Texas.
She received her formal education in Diboll, Texas. Katherine accepted Christ at an early age. She was a member of Iron Wheel Baptist Church in Nacogdoches, Texas, where she served as an usher. During her life, she enjoyed taking care of her family being that she was the oldest sibling and fishing. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
On January 3, 2021, Katherine Hampton departed this life in Lufkin, Texas.
