Kendall Duane Byerly's Obituary
Services for Kendall Duane Byerly, 48, will be held Saturday, May 17, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Clawson Assembly of God, 5569 US Hwy 69 North. Burial will follow in the Davis Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday from 6- 8 p.m. at the funeral home on Friday. Mr. Kendall Duane Byerly was born January 22, 1966 in Newton, Texas to Archie Lee and Annie Mae (Barnes) Byerly and died Saturday May 10, 2014 in Lufkin. Mr. Byerly graduated from Burkeville High School in 1984 and attended Angelina College studying Business Management. He was a residence of Lufkin for 30 years. Mr. Byerly served as the Overseer of the Love Worship Center South for nine years in Newton, Texas and Love Fellowship Center North for two years in Lufkin. He was employed by S & W Expert Collision Repair.
Mr. Byerly was a family man, enjoyed sharing the gospel, riding horses and playing basketball.
Survivors: wife. Yolanda (Freeman) Byerly for 24 years, Sons and daughter in law, D'Kendrick and Kiara Gilder, Kendall DeMarviae Byerly and Milandra Kentesa Byerly all of Lufkin, grand daughters, Kendallyn Gilder and Layken Williams, grandson, Jaylon Morrison. brothers, Kevin Byerly of Newton, Tx. and Archie Byerly Jr. of Houston, Tx.
Mr. Byerly was preceded in death by his father Archie Byerly Sr., mother Annie Mae (Barnes) Byerly and brother Arthur Terrence Barnes.
