Kenneth is my precious homebound student who I taught for three years from 2008 until he was well enough to go to school in person. He was in the third grade when I began to teach him and I was so happy when he was well enough to go to Lufkin Middle School.
Teaching him enriched my life and helped me become a better teacher.
I was so excited for him to go to Lufkin Middle School because he was healthier and could be with his friends and learn in the classroom setting. I was also excited because my office was there and I would still be able to see and check on him periodically.
Kenneth was a very hard worker and had great manners. It was a joy to teach him and he taught me some things about a laptop computer that I did not know. Even on the days that he did not feel well he still did his best. He always had a smile on his face and looked forward to learning.
God bless his entire family and know that I am praying for you. I love you all.
