Graveside service for Lamerle Carpenter, 97, of Diboll is scheduled for Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at 2 p.m., in the Cedar Grove Cemetery. Mrs. Carpenter was born on May 8, 1924, in Garrison, TX, to the late Ernest and Vivian Young, and died February 6, 2022, in Lufkin.
Mrs. Carpenter is survived by: Daughters: Regina Davis of Diboll, and Betty Coutee of Lufkin.
Sons: Victor Travis, William D. Carpenter, Marvin W. Carpenter, Anthony L. Carpenter, Gregory McGruder all of Lufkin, and Curtis Brown of Houston. She was preceded in death by; Husband Victor L. Carpenter and daughter Carolyn Young.
