Funeral services for Laprell Caldwell, 65, of Lufkin is scheduled for 2 p.m., Saturday, April 13, 2024, at
Colonial Mortuary. Burial will follow in the Cedar Grove Cemetery.
Laprell Howard Caldwell, was born on May 12, 1956 in Jacksonville, Texas, to the late Cecil Howard and Fannie King.
Laprell received her formal education from Hackney Elementary School and Lufkin High School. Her religious affiliation wys with First Missionary Baptist Church. She had been employed by The Lufkin State School and Angelina Hardwood Mill in Lufkin, Texas. Laprell enjoyed the outdoors and loved fishing. She was an avid cook, enjoyed her trips to the casino, and spending quality time with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
On April 3, 2024, in Tyler, Texas, Laprell Howard Caldwell made her transition from this Earthly life, to her Heavenly home.
Laprell is preceded in death by: Her siblings, William Howard and Keith King; A Godson Jerrad Jernigan and a wealth of aunts and uncles..
