Services for Larry La 'Harold (Toot) Morris Jr, 42, of Lufkin is scheduled for 2 p.m., Saturday December 31, 2022, at Goodwill Missionary Baptist Church, 812 E. Lufkin Ave. Burial will follow in the Davis Memorial Gardens. Mr. Morris was born on August 14, 1980, in Lufkin, and died Monday, December 19 ,2022 in Lufkin.
On September 14, 1980, a beautiful baby boy born to Larry and Linda Morris in Lufkin, Texas. They named him after his father, Larry Morris Jr. He was affectionally called, " Toot ", by those that loved him.
Larry received his formal education through Lufkin Public Schools, graduating from Lufkin High School 1999. He worked for the city of Lufkin for several years but worked at the Furniture Fetish store until his demise. He enjoyed sports and all types of music. Not only did he love music, but he was gifted to have a beautiful singing voice, that he hid from the world. Larry was a devoted father, son, brother, uncle, and cousin, to many and was truly loved by his family.
On December 19, 2022, Toot answered the master's call and peacefully transitioned, surrounded by his close's family into Eternity. When he arrived in Heaven, he was greeted by his father, Larry Morris Sr, his brother Ja 'Clayton Morris, and Grandparents, Catherine Tatum, Murline, and Harold Lane.

His children: De'Coveon, Cedayvion, Mikaelyn, Jaedyn, Micah, and Reese; One grandchild, Kayzlei Dian Rice, Mother Linda Morris, Sister; Sonya Lane (Joe Bennett), China Morris, and Saraya Morris; Nephew and Nieces Jororski (Chan), Latazzia (Keiston), Demetrius Lane.
