Funeral services for Lavon White,67, of Lufkin will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, December 4,2021, in the Mt. Beulah Baptist Church, located 217 S Warren St, Lufkin Tx 75901. Burial will follow in the Davis Memorial Gardens. Mrs. White was born on April 12,1954, in Lufkin and died on Friday, November 19, 2021, in Lufkin.
Mrs. Lavon White was born to the proud parents of Rosie Lee Polk, Joe D. Alexander and Elijah Polk. She resided in Lufkin, Texas, where she worked the majority of her life.
She is preceded in death by her Mother, Rosie Lee Polk; Father, Joe D. Alexander and Elijah
Polk; Brother Joe D. Alexander, Jr.; Sisters, Nettie Mae Alexander , Patricia Nicole Alexander.
Left to cherish her memories: Daughter, Demetrice Lafay Alexander; Son, Michael
