Leachdiane (Lesa) Smallwood's Obituary
Services for Leachdiane (Lesa) Smallwood, 52, of Lufkin will be held Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cornerstone Church, 1407 Ellis Ave., Lufkin, TX. Burial will follow in the Davis Memorial Gardens. Visitation is Friday from 6:00 till 8:00 p.m. at Colonial Mortuary. Mrs. Smallwood was born February 2, 1966 in Lufkin and died February 18, 2019 in Houston, TX.
Lechidiane Marie Arrington-Smallwood, was born to the parentage of Joe Arrington and Annie Marie Thompson in Luflcin, Texas on February 2, 1966.
She attended the Lufkin Independent School District graduating from Lufkin High School later attending Massey's Business College in Nacogdoches, Texas. Tootie as she was affectionately called had been employed by Memorial Hospital in Lufkin for sixteen years and Southland Nursing Center for fifteen years as an CNA. Her livelihood consisted of: word searching, she was also a Bible Scholar, an avid fan of the Lufkin Panthers Football Team, and playing Kick Ball with her grandkids and she was a great Bargain Shopper.
On February 11. 2019 Lechidiane Marie Arrington-Smallwood departed this life in Houston, Texas.
Lechidiane was preceded in death by her parents, Joe Oswald Arrington and Annie Marie Thompson-Arrington and two grandchildren.
