Funeral services for Lee Benton,43, will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m., February 22, 2020, New Center Prospect Church. Interment will follow in the New Hope Cemetry in Kennard Tx. Mr. Benton was born on October 24, 1976, and died February 10, 2020, in Lufkin Texas.
Lee Dimonté Benton, was born on October 24, 1976 to Sheelah Benton and Marvin Cook Johnson in Lufkin, Texas.
Lee was a member of Gospel Lighthouse COGIC, Kennard, Texas from his childhood to his adulthood. In 2014, he joined New Center Prospect Baptist Church but, due to his illness could nor attend regularly. Lee attended Kennard High School. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
On February 10, 2020, Lee Dimonté Benton departed this earthly life.
