Funeral service for Mr. Lee Ingram, 85 of Lufkin will be held 11AM, Saturday, December 20, 2025, at Goodwill Church , 812 E Lufkin Ave, Lufkin, TX. Burial will follow in the St. John Cemetery, San Augustine.
Lee George Ingram, was born on June 13, 1940 in San Augustine, Texas, to the late Joe and Bertha (Garrett), Ingram. He was adopted at a young age by the late Roy and Maurice (Sowell) Wilson.
Lee received his formal education from the San Augustine, Texas School District. He had been employed as a truck driver for JP Burris and had also been employed at Massengills Meat Market as a meat cuter for many years. Lee was also a Veteran of the United States Army.
On Friday, December 12, 2025, Lee George Ingram departed this life in Lufkin, Texas.
His brother, Chester Jackson; Daughters, Stacie Thompson, Valerie Jones; Twelve Stepsons and daughters; Daughters-inlaw, Karen Ingram, Melba Ingram, Grandchildren, Shamita, Tiffani, D.J., Michael (Shaleta); Cathryn, Whitney, Tiera, Jamarcus, Kennadi, Taylor, Clinisha, Monique; A wealth of great-grandchildren;great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other extended family members.
Lee was preceded in death by: His parents, Joe and Bertha Ingram; His adopted parents, Roy and Marie Wilson: Wife, Annie Pearl Ingram; Children, Jerry Walker, Mark and Marvin Michael Ingram, Sr. Angela Ingram; Grandaughter, Shonta Wilkins.
