Services for Lemuel M. Roberson, 29, of Lufkin will be held Saturday, February 5, 2022, at 2:00 p.m., in the Woods Memorial Temple Church of God in Christ, 230 Leach St., Lufkin, TX. Burial will follow in the Davis Memorial Garden. Mr. Roberson was born November 4, 1992, in Nacogdoches, TX., and died January 26, 2022, in Houston, TX.
Lemuel Miguel Roberson was born in Nacogdoches, Texas on November 4, 1992.
He briefly lived in Diboll, Texas as a toddler before being raised mainly in Jacksonville, Florida.
He returned to Texas to attend Lufkin High School, graduated, and continued on to study at Praire View University, where he majored in communications. Lemuel enjoyed playing video games, watching football, and cheering on his Jacksonville Jaguars. He loved his family and always shared jokes with his beloved cousins.
Lemuel was preceded in death by His father, Kelvin Phipps; his Grandparents, Bobbie Washington and Julia Mae Phipps, and his Grandfather, Melvin Phipps.
He is survived by his mother, Barbara Renea Roberson; Sister, SiRashia Roberson; Brother, Steve Roberson; Nieces, Sinazia Roberson, Shaligha Roberson and nephews, Zanthony Hayter, Zoaricque Hayter; Great-nephews, SiRaylen Roberson, and Syrique Parker.
