Funeral services for Lottie L. Ash, 79, of Lufkin, will be held Saturday, December 30,2023, at 2:00 P.M., in the Colonial Mortuary Chapel, viewing will be from 1:00 p.m. till time of services. Burial will follow in the Cedar Grove Cemetery. Ms. Ash was born on February 24,1944, in San Augustine, and died on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, in Lufkin.
Lottie Lee Ash was born on February 25, 1944, to the late Levi Williams and Unice Mosby Williams. She was called home on December 19, 2023. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and was baptized on March 13, 1977. She was a member of the Lubbock Street Church of Christ.
She was a fantastic mother and grandmother. She was always laughing and had a great spunky attitude.
She loved all seven of her children and raised them to be responsible Christian adults. She worked at Lufkin industries until retiring after 30 years. She enjoyed reading the bible, family time, dancing, fishing, shopping, and listening to music.
She is proceeded in death by: Her husband Lee Ash; all her siblings: Virgie Harris, Mattie Williams, Willie Bell Teal, Johnny (baby Ray) Williams, JC Williams, Tommy Williams, Ran (Dick) Williams, Ardmore (Bud) Williams; her grandchildren: Theadrain Weatherred, Rodrick Weatherred, Dazzlene Weatherred; and her children's father Troy Weatherred.
She leaves her cherished memories to
her children Lillie Jackson (Billy), Frankie Weatherred (Vera), Dorothy Weathers, Lottie Holcomb
(Kenneth) all of Lufkin, TX; David Weatherd, Laura Nelson of Cibolo, TX; Patrick Williams (Stephanie) of
Tomball, TX; her stepdaughter Sharon Botley; her grandchildren Jason McKelvey, LeeArtis McKelvey (Ashley), Chadwick McKelvey, Laeresa Loring, Samuel Weatherred, Larry Weatherred, Albert Moreland
(Jaimee), LeShaun Nelson, Destiny Ballard, Maddison Williams, Kolby Williams, Heavenly Williams, Harmony Williams; 19 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
