Graveside services for Louilla Hicks, 91, of Lufkin will be held Thursday, December 30, 2021, at 1:00 p.m., in the Cedar Grove Cemetery in Milam, Tx. Mrs. Hicks was on December 23, 1929, and died on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, in San Augustine.
Mrs. Louilla Hicks, was born to the parentage of the late Melvin Bell and Mamie White in East Liberty, Texas, on December 23, 1929.
Louilla was reared by Peggy Lane and family. She was baptized at Cedar Grove Baptist Church in Milam, Texas. Her religious affiliation was with the Baptist Church. She was a spiritual minded individual and she loved Jehovah God. Louilla loved to attend church, cook, gardening, and she was an avid decorator, especially in her home. She _received her formal education from the East Liberty, Texas School. She had been married to the late Enner Hicks. She will be greatly missed by her family.
On December 22, 2021, Louilla Hicks departed this life in Lufkin, Texas.

Her stepson, Billy Hicks; Nephew, D.C. Bell; a wealth of grandchildren and greatgrandchildren; Numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.
She is preceded in death by: Her husband, Enner Hicks; Her parents, Melvin Bell and Mamie White; Two brothers, Q.C. Bell and C.D. Bell; A grandson, Billy Hicks, Jr.; A sister, Eunice Nell Hinchell.
