Louise Dove's Obituary
Services for Louise Dove, 91, of Lufkin will be held Saturday, July 3, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in the Colonial Mortuary Chapel. Burial will follow in the Davis Memorial Garden. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 till 7:00 p.m. at Colonial Mortuary.
Louise was born October 18, 1927 in Lufkin, Texas to Lula Sanders Moore and Oscar Moore. She was preceded in death by her husband; Jack Dove, parents and stepfather; Mr. Earnest Truitt, sisters; Elzener Tubbs, Anniebelle Moore, and Elizabeth Jones, daughter; Debra Ann Brown, and grandson; Roderick Brown.
She attended Lufkin Public Schools and worked for the late Mr. and Mrs. Holiday and the late Dr. Royce
Read and LaJean Read.
A founding member of the Church of the Living God C.W.F.F., 212 S. Garvin St., Lufkin, Texas, Louise served the Lord faithfully until her health deteriorated.
Louise leaves to cherish her loving memory a daughter; Annie Jeanette McKenzie (David), granddaughters; Kurtina Davis and Danielle Williams, grandsons; Christopher Dove, Jamarkus Dove, and Robert Morrison, great granddaughters; Tiana Davis, Shaquashia Davis, Ahliyaah Williams, and Adalynn
Williams, great grandsons; Authur Williams, Jr., Amari Davis, Jabron Davis, and Gabriel Davis. Nieces; Alpha Woods, Carolyn Moore, and Lula Moore-Johnson, Nephew; Carrell Ray Moore, and a host of other relatives and friends.
