The funeral service for Lue Brown, 91, of Lufkin will be held Saturday, March 22, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. in the Colonial Mortuary Chapel. Visitation is Friday from 5:00 till 7:00 p.m. at Colonial Mortuary Burial is in the Davis Memorial Garden..
On March 15, 2025, Lue Rena (Shepherd) Brown made her transition from her Earthly Home to her Eternal Home.
Lue loved her family and people in general, and never met a stranger. She loved talking and helping individuals at anytime, and anywhere. She will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew and loved her.
Lue was preceded in death by: Her parents, Eula Mae Garrett and Lipscomb Shepherd; A daughter, Vallirie Harris, and a sister, Rosie Jean Watkins.

Four children, A loving and caring daughter, Janice Peacock, Kenneth Harris (Marilyn), Yolonda Brown and Craig Hamilton; Grandchildren, Tacosha White (Tavaris), Antoneshia Holman, DeMarquise Freeman, Shandollan Skinner, Kacey Harris, and Keithen Harris; Twelve great-grandchildren; A special friend, Brenda Menefee, and a wealth of loving relatives and friends.
