Luther was the Dayshift Roll Call sergeant when I was assigned to Central Division as a probationary officer in 1982. Back then, that meant he actually ran the station. I was grateful for the wisdom he shared with me back then. It has served me well for many years.

We met Luther at Lakewood Baptist Church. We began raising three little grandkids in 2005. Luther designed the addition to our home to accommodate the children & he & the men of the church built it. We will be eternally grateful to all of them.
