I loved working with Marilyn. She gave all of her energy to the volunteer station supervisors and volunteers of the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP), with DETCOG. I used to cheer her on and she would get excited and run out the door on fire to serve!
She shared her life story with me one day. She didn't have an easy road, but she became a prayer warrior because of it! "Devil for our bitter, God for our better!" She knew the power of Who she served. Now she KNOWS, in person, the God she serves and prayed to each and every day, on behalf of those who needed prayer. You may be better today, because Marilyn prayed for you! Oh, the stories that she could tell!
