Services for Mary Clark ,81, will be held Saturday, February 7, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. in the Impact Outreach Ministries,, 440 FM 2021, Lufkin, TX. Burial will follow in the Diboll Cemetery.
.Mary Louise Clark, was born to the parentage ofthe late Ezra Sr. and Mae Eva Thompson on October 18, 1944, in Wells, Texas.
Mary attended Wells Elementary School and Booker T. Washington in Alto, Texas, from which she graduated. She played basketball and ran track at Booker T. Washington during her younger years. Her religious affiliation and membership was with Peaceful Rest Missionary Baptist Church for many years. She served as a faithful and dedicated member until her health began to fail. She dedicated many years ofher life preparing meals for many organizations throughout Lufkin, Texas. She was known for her Western Burgers that everyone loved. Mary Louise had been employed by the Lufkin Independent School District for many years. She was known as a warm woman of God known as "Mother Love." She always showed love and encouragement to everyone whom she came in contact with.
On January 3 1, 2026, Mary Louise Clark made her transition from this Earthly Life to her Heaven's Gain.
Mary Louise is preceded in death by: Her husband of forty years, Clarence Clark, Sr.; Her parents, Ezra Sr., and Mae Eva Thompson; Her Siblings, Rosie L. Hunt, Eva Mae Brown, Ezra Thompson, Jr., Charles Thompson and Lewey E. Thompson.
She is survived by: Her children, Clarence Clark (Becky), Angela Lee (Robert), La' Wanda Clark, Kalisa Clark, La Donya Lucas ( Broderick), Corey Clark (Keisha); Raised as her very own, Jamarcus Martin and Taraji Thomas; Sixteen grandchildren; Twenty seven great-grandchildren; Nineteen nieces and nephews; Numerous great-grandchildren; Special long-time friends, Sandra Gray, Carolyn Johnson, Sis. Polly Nesmith, Shirley Graham, and Brenda Taylor; Special cousins, Jimmie and Bettie Hagen and Reverend Ray Boston; Her Special son-in-law, Robert P. Taylor; A wealth of spiritual daughters that she loved dearly; God-daughter, Gwendolyn Morris-Hollis.
