Mary Ruth Robinson's Obituary
Memorial services for Mary Ruth Robinson, 77, of Lufkin will be held Saturday, November 24, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the Woods Memorial Temple, 210 Leach St., Lufkin, TX.Sis. Mary Ruth Robinson, was born on February 3, 1941 to the late J.D. and Velma Ruth Robinson in Deadwood, Texas.
Mary was the first child born of twelve children: Nine girls and three boys, Chester Robinson, Carolyn Ann, Tincy Marie, Roy, Velma Mae, John Aaron, Carolyn Joyce, Eva Jean, Betty Deloise, Dorothea Jean and Brenda Marie.
Mary received her formal education from the Lufkin Independent
School District. On June 28, 1954, she united in Holy Matrimony to the late H.J. Jenkins and to this union no children were born. The man-iage lasted for three years, and she later met Albert Ferrell two children were born, Felecia Ann Ferrell, Anthony Steven Ferrell; She had an additional son, James Daniel Jenkins. Then she united with Lonnie Carol Webb August 23, 1966 and two children were born, Jacquline Webb and Jack Tillman Webb. An additional daughter Loreen Matts of Lufkin.
She relocated from Houston, Texas in 1973 relocating to Lufkin, Texas.
In 1971, she received the Baptism of the Holy Ghost and united with
Zion Temple Church of God In Christ under the leadership of the late Elder Woods and her brother, Supt. Chester Robinson. She was religiously affiliated with the Reverend Jurisdiction-Church of God In Christ Incorporated-Southeast Third Jurisdiction. There was Church Administration and Church Sewing Circle. She now leaves the remaining members of her family to join them in Glory.

Many grandchildren; Two great-grand-children and one greatgreat-grandchild.
