Graveside services for Minnie Young, 70, of Diboll will be held Saturday, May 16, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. in the New Hope Cemetery, Hwy 7 West in Kennard, TX.
Mrs. Minnie Young was born on January 20, 1950 in Diboll, Texas to Oather Spencer and Virginia Spencer.
Minnie accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of First Shiloh Baptist Church in Diboll, Texas. She received her formal education from Diboll Public Schools and was a graduate of Diboll High School. Minnie had several passions, receiving her CNA License from Angelina College. She had been employed as a Bus Driver, Care Giver, and Med Aide. Minnie encountered numerous friends whom she called family. She loved to Fellowship with them and was greatly loved by the Community of Diboll, Texas.
On May 7, 2020, Minnie Bell Young departed this life in Lufkin, Texas.
Minnie was preceded in death by her two daughters; Meisha and Soboria; Parents, Oather Spencer and Virginia Spencer; Three sisters, Jo-Ann Bendy (survived by Emerson Bendy), Faye Williams, (E.C. Williams), Pearlie Scurlock (Daniel Scurlock); One brother, Oather Spencer (survived by Joyce Spencer); A brother-in-law, Frank Polk.
Left To Cherish Her Memories
Minnie leaves her sister, Betty Polk her life. Her life will also be remembered by a host nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Minnie was near and dear to many hearts, Beverly Jo Gordon, Brandon Taylor, and Jordan Teal.
