Services for Murdie Pender, 74, of Tyler will be held Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the St. Violet Baptist Church, 14129 FM 2767. Burial will follow in the Piney Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday from 5:00 till 7:00 p.m. at Colonial Mortuary and from 10:00 a.m. till time of services at Mt. Violent Baptist Church on Saturday. Mrs. Pender was born May 29, 1941 in Halls Mill, TX. and died April 8, 2016 in Lufkin.
