Services for Nell Cloudy, 96, will be held Saturday, December 8, 2018 at 1:00 a.m. in the First Missionary Baptist Church, 401 Scarbrough St., Lufkin ,TX. Burial will follow in the Davis Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. till time of services at the Church. Mrs. Cloudy was born April 24, 1922 in Lufkin and died December 2, 2018 in Waxahachie, TX.Mrs. Cloudy was born on April 24, 1922 in Conroe, Texas and died on December 1, 2018 in Lufkin, Texas.
She attended the Conroe Public Schools. Later in life she became a resident of Lufkin, Texas. Mrs. Cloudy had been employed by Modern Cleaners as a seamstress and presser for over thirty years. She was a quiet and peacefull person and loved children. She soul help anyone that she could that needed her. She was a member of the First Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed her work and especially sewing. She will be missed by many.
Survivors: Granddaughter, Belisha R. Turner (Andre Turner); Great-granddaughter, Brianna English; Great-great-granddaughter, Kalicia English; A wealth of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
