Norman Crisp's Obituary
Mr. Norman Crisp, 58 of Lufkin, is scheduled 11 a.m., at Pines Theater, 113 S. First St, Lufkin. Burial will follow in the Davis Memorial Garden. Mr. Crisp was born on May 4, 1965, and died on Monday, July 3, 2023, in Conroe.
Norman Crisp, Sr. was born on May 4, 1965 to the parentage of Cassandra Jones and Mac Arthur Mitchell.
He attended Forest Brook High School. Norman was an entrepreneur and had several businesses throughout his life, including a Detail Shop, Car Lot and Nightclubs. Norman was the life of the party, and was always dressed to perfection from head to toe every time you saw him. Norman loved his family and would do anything for them. He also cared about people and would help anyone he came across. He never met a stranger. He' s known for being ajokester and was always talking noise. He meant something different to everyone he met, but they all loved him in their own way.
He first met his wife Angie in 1999, and after many years of dating and sharing life, they wed on January 1, 2015. He loved all of his grand-kids dearly, but had a very special bond with one in particular, Messiah Crisp. For those that truly knew him, knew that in Norman's words, Messiah was Pappas' Boy, and you rarely saw him without Messiah.
On July 3, 1965 Norman Crisp, Sr. departed this life in, Conroe Texas.

His wife, Angie Rhodes-Crisp; Two sons, Ja'Micheal Crisp and Norman Crisp, Jr.; Two daughters, Bianca Crisp and Cassandra Crisp; Three others that he raised as his own: Norma Laws, Chantel Walker and Raymond "Bubba" Hubert; Siblings, Three brothers, Rick Johnson, Reginald Crisp and Mac Arthur Mitchell; Five sisters, Angie Mitchell, Lequinda Mitchell, Robbie Mitchell, Wyna Williams and LaTerrica Mitchell.
He was preceded in death by: His mother, Cassandra Jones; Father, Mac Arthur Mitchell; a brother, Jamerion Mitchell, Sr. and a very special cousin that was raised as his brother, Jerome Jones; His grandparents, a wealth of aunts, uncles, cousins and other family members.
