Born on March 14, 1965 in Lufkin, Texas was none other than Mr. Norris Dale McClendon, Sr. Possessing a smile that lit up the night sky coupled with an undeniable laugh that would catch the attention of all those within his reach is a wonderful way of describing Norris Dale on his best days. Norris enjoyed having fun and spending time with family and friends. Christmas was his favorite holiday, because he loved the festive and uplifting atmosphere in which that time of year would bring. Norris loved speaking proudly about and to his children, nieces, and nephews, displaying his hopes that their futures are filled with success and happiness. He showed straight from his heart how genuinely happy he was for others. Like anyone else, Norris Dale started out with hopes and dreams. And he journeyed through life, like anyone else, he ran into multiple pathways and chose his way, some knowingly and some unknowingly, some right and some wrong. One ofNorris' dreams and pathways he started down was being a track star because he recognized he had the speed, stamina, and determination. Although he did not continue in his reach to be a track star he did enjoy watching other sports, such as football, particularly his favorite team, the Dallas Cowboys. Also, anyone who say Norris' handwriting knew his writing expertise could have easily been used as a calligraphy or has a computer font. Along those lines, he was an artist too. If you placed a pen and paper in his hands, he would pucker his lips and commence to drawing whatever was suggested or desired. Norris Dale had a lot of undeniable potential that he wanted to be realized. Norris Dale love life within the realm of happiness that he could reach or was afforded to him. After a while, he grew tired ofreaching and transitioned into the arms ofour Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Sunday June, 4, 2020.
