Obie Payne's Obituary
Service for Obie Payne, 63 of San Augustine will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at 2 p.m., in the Spirit of Love, 2195 US Highway N., in San Augustin, viewing from 10 a.m., till service time. Burial will follow in the St. Luke Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 till the time of services at the church.
Obie "Chico" Payne, was born on October 14, 1960, to the late James Payne and Mary Payne.
He attended Lincoln High and graduated from San Augustine High School with the Class of 1979. After graduation, he enlisted in the United States Army and served in 1979.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Payne; A brother, Cleveland Payne; A sister, Michelle Deason; A niece, Leonetta Suell and his grandparents.
On June 24, 2024, Obie "Chico" Payne made his transition from his Earthly Home to his Eternal Home.
