I remember as a kid when Uncle James would come home to Alabama and how excited we all were. We were that way about all of our uncles, they were and are great men who were sharp dresser who always shined their shoes! But I remember on one particular visit he came home in a brand new car with a personalized license plate, and it said “GODANDI.” That epitomized who he was and what he stood for. While I am sad because he has shed his earthly home, I rejoice that he is now in his heavenly home! Aunt Ann, I pray for your strength. God will see you through!

Deacon Prophet Shelton was a devout Christian man. He loved the Lord, his family and his church. He will be greatly missed. We pray for his family and the church. Earth hath no sorrow heaven cannot heal.
Bro. Shelton was a very God fearing soul. He loved his family and his church family. He was devoted and dedicated to helping any and everyone. His church family will truly miss him. Praying for his immediate family and our church family. He had a hand shake that no one could ever forget.
