Graveside services for .R.L. Ross, 74, of Ratcliff, will be held Saturday, September 4, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. in the McKelvey cemetery in Tadmore, TX.
Mr. Ross was born August 20, 1947 Alto, TX. and died August 25, 2021 in Nacogdoches, TX.
Mr. R.L. Ross Jr. was born on August 20, 1947 to the parentage of R. L. and Ruth Shepherd Ross in Alto, Texas.
Mr. Ross attended High School at West High Side School in Kennard, Texas. He had been employed by Lufkin Industries for thirty five years where he worked as a Core Setter. He was united in marriage to Laura Thacker Ross on August 9, 1969. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Mr. Ross was a member of Weeping Mary Baptist Church in Alto, Texas.
On August 28, 2021, Mr. R. L. Ross Jr. departed this life in Lufkin, Texas.

His wife, Laura Ross of Lufkin, Texas; A daughter, Angela Ross of Diboll, Texas and a son, Steven Ross of Lufkin, Texas; A brother James Ross (Bridgett) of Ratcliff, Texas; Three grandchildren and a host of extended family.
He is preceded in death by his parents, R.L. and Ruth Ross; A brother, George Boston and a sister, Margie Ross Lee.
