Regina Jackson Oliver's Obituary
Funeral services for Regina Oliver,64, of Lufkin, are will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2020, at 11:00 a.m., in the Colonial Mortuary Chapel. Burial will follow in the Davis Memorial Garden Cemetery. Mrs.Oliver was born on October 20, 1956, in Lufkin, and died on September 14, 2020, in Houston Texas.
Regina K. Oliver was the eighth child and the fifth girl born to the parentage of the late Phillip and Betty Jackson, October 20, 1956, in Lufkin, Texas.
Regina was reared in Lufkin, Texas where she received her formal education form the Lufkin Independent School District. She was a faithful member of Memorial Chapel CME Church, where she served in the Choir, Mission, and in the Stewardess Department. Later in life, she met and married Cyrus Bass Sr. raising three boys. Her work history started with a job for the Lufkin
Independent School District. She also was faithfully employed with the
Lufkin State School for several years. Later she worked for Jordon Home Health Services for many years until her demise on September 14, 2020, at 7:15 p.m. at CHI St. Luke Baylor in Houston, Texas.
She enjoyed cooking and would feed anyone that was hungry. Regina would take food to different people after cooking her meals. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family and dear friends.

Regina is preceded in death by: Parents, Phillip and Betty Jackson; Sisters, Saundra Ligones, and Jettie Murphy; Brothers, Phillip Jackson Jr., and Charles Jackson.
