Service for Robert Killens, 86 of Huntington will be held at 11 a.m., at Colonial Mortuary Chapel. . Cremation services is under the directions of Colonial Mortuary.
Robert Killens affectionately called "Rob," was born on May 13, 1937 in Huntington, Texas, to the parentage of the late Tom Killens and Stella McMillen.
He attended the First Baptist Church in Lufkin, Texas, and had been self employed as a Carpenter. He also was a Veteran of the United States Army. His livelihood consisted of his love for fishing, playing dominoes, and watching the Dallas Cowboys NFL Football Games. He loved to spend quality time with family and friends.
Survivors: Son, Robert Anthony Killens; Step-nieces, Christine Goins, Teresa Range, Patricia Howze, Amelia Watts, Beloris Hunter, Mae Francis Buggs-Harrison, Cassandra Petry; Stepnephews, Albert Buggs, Lucas Buggs Ill, Kermit Buggs, Willie Buggs, Thenis Buggs and Rayford Buggs; Many cousins, and other extended family members.
Preceded in death by: His parents, four sisters, two nieces and a nephew.
