The funeral service for Robert Roberson, 71 of Lufkin will be held at 2:00 PM at Colonial Mortuary Chapel, 1600 Sayers Street, Lufkin, Texas on January 11, 2025. The burial will follow in the Davis Memorial Gardens on Jackson Road, Lufkin, Texas.
Mr. Robert L. Roberson was born to the parentage of the late Hazel Roberson Davis and Jewel V. Swint on March 6, 1953, in Lufkin, Texas.
Robert was a member of the Free Spirit Church in Lufkin, Texas for many years. He attended the Lufkin Independent School District. His livelihood consisted of his love for watching television, shooting pool, fishing, and hunting in his yard. Robert was an entrepreneur and the owner of his own cab-driving business. He loved to spend quality time with his children and grandchildren. His family and dear friends will greatly miss him.
On December 29, 2024, Robert Lee Roberson transitioned from his earthly life to his heavenly home.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jewel V. Swint and Hazel Roberson Davis; his sister, Linda Joyce Kirksey; and his two brothers, Elbert Wayne Davis, Jr. and Fredrick Davis.
