Graveside services for Rosie Stewart 72, of Dallas, will be Saturday, December 12, 2020, at 2 p.m., in the Cedar Grove Cemetery. Mrs. Stewart was born June 6, 1948, in Shreveport LA, and passed away on Saturday, December 5,2020 in Dallas.
Mae Stewart, was born on June 6, 1948 in Shreveport, Louisiana, to the parentage of Mary Miller and the late James Miller.
Rosie was raised in Lufkin, Texas, where she received her formal education from the Lufkin Independent School District. She relocated to Dallas, Texas, where she had been employed in Housekeeping retiring from the Renaissance Dallas Hotel after twenty four years of service. She was a member at Heartline Ministries in Dallas, Texas for over thirty years, under the leadership of Bishop Victor Beck.
She is preceded in death by: Her husband, L.J. Stewart; Siblings, Lessie B. Miller, Clifford Miller; Father, James Miller.
Rosie is survived by: Four Children; Six Grandchildren; a sister; Her Mom and many loved one’s and friends. Her children, Delisa Galloway (daughter), Forney, Texas, Shirley, Dallas, Texas, Frederick Stewart of Lufkin, Texas and Mickel Stewart of Elkhart,
Texas; Grandchildren, Cynterria Miller, Gary Jackson, Waynesha Jackson, Marquiel Diggs,Mickel Jr. Stewart and Kambron Stewart; Her Mom, Mary Miller; Sister, Betty Mae; Most sister-in-law, Annie White; Most cherished friend of the family Kristina Mitchell; Sisters and brothers-in-law, Annie (John) White, Annie (John) Polk, Annie(Tony) Kiel, Billy (Doreen) Stewart of Lufkin, Texas and Willie (Sharon) Stewart of Alvarado; Son-in-law, Gary Galloway; Nieces and Nephews, Tonisha Wynn, Antonia Kiel, Stewart, LeAura Stewart, Dorinda Jackson, Yolanda Jackson, Issic Jackson, Terry Jackson, Sabrina Williams, Veronica Miller, Tonya Coutee, and Yolanda Pickett.
