Roy Edgar Rogers' Obituary
Services for Roy Edgar Rogers will be held Sunday, December 1, 2019 in the Colonial Mortuary Chapel. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery in Brookland, Texas. Visitation is Saturday from 5:00 p.m. till 7:00 p.m.
at Colonial Mortuary.
Roy Edgar Rogers , was born on September 16, 1949 to the parentage of the late Elwin Rogers and Easter Robinson Rogers.
Mr. Rogers resided in Lufkin, Texas for most of his life. He completed his formal education from the Lufkin Independent School District, graduating as Valedictorian of his Class. Roger later attended Texas Southern University in Houston, Texas. At an early age Roger was affiliated with the Church of the Living God. His livelihood consisted of his love for fishing, spending quality time with family, and he was an avid reader. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
On November 1 8, 2019, Roy Edgar Rogers departed this life in Lufkin, Texas.
