I remember Mr. Sam fondly. When I was in high school, working at Palvic's he would order all his supplies for a hunt weekend for Mr. Temple. He taught me how to pick out baking potatoes for his steak grill dinner. He always got 100 lbs of potatoes and they had to be as near in size as I could possibly make them. He wanted them just so. He was very particular about all the food he was going to cook. He was always very kind and very much a gentleman in speech and actions.
