Memorial services for Samuel Fresh Mark Jr., 63, of Lufkin are scheduled for 11 a.m., Saturday, February 5, 2022 in the Colonial Mortuary Chapel, Mr. Mark was born in Nigton, Texas, and died Thursday, January 20, 2022, in Cotulla, Texas. Cremation is under the direction of Colonial Mortuary.
Samuel Fresh Mark, Jr. was born on August 8, 1958 in Nigton, Texas, to the parentage of the late Samuel Mark, Sr. And Florence Mark.
Samuel resided in Nigton, Texas most of his young life. He had been a member ofthe Long Chapel C.M.E. Church in Lufkin and was baptized at an eraly age.
He had been employed by Georgia Pacific, Lufkin Industries, and had various other places of employment during his lifetime. His livelihood consisted of his love for the NFL football teams and he was an avid fan ofthe Dallas Cowboys. Samuel's favorite pastime was to spend quality time with his, wife, family, and especially his grandchildren.
On January 20, 2022, Samuel Fresh Mark departed this life in Lufkin, Texas.
