Graveside services for Shalada Deshay Hurts will be held Saturday, September 9, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. in the Davis Memorial Garden.
Shalada Deshay Hurts, was born on February 25, 1988 in Lufkin, Texas to the parentage of James Edward Henry and Vera Lee Hurts.
Who was Shalada Hurts? She was a beautiful intelligent spirit, with a kind heart. Very loving and adventurous, with a voice of an angel. Shalada was the kind of person that give her last to a stranger. She was a very strong woman that never gave up on life even when life got tough. Shalda was loved by her family members and friends. She will be greatly missed.

Her father, James Henry; Her mother, Vera Okocha; A sister, Lesha Lloyd; Brothers, David Hurts, Kenny Lloyd, and wife Alyssa Lloyd; Six children; A host of stepbrothers and sisters, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
She is preceded in death by: A son; sister; and her maternal and paternal grandparents.
